The Absheron field is located offshore Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea, in 500m of water depth.

An Early Production Scheme development consists of a single well connected to SOCAR operated Oil Rocks facilities.

The production will be routed through a 33-35 km insulated 12” line to a dedicated receiving platform bridge linked to SOCAR Oil Rocks existing facilities. On the platform, gas and liquid will be separated.

HP gas, LP gas and condensate/water will be metered separately and the three streams will flow to SOCAR Oil Rocks facilities for further processing, storage and export.
